Stories Africa is a community for sharing stories that are enriching our continent and improving lives. Our aim is both to inspire Africans and shape a positive African narrative globally.

Many of the constraints Africa faces are related to leadership. To realise our continent’s huge potential and generate inclusive growth, we need values-based leadership  - characterised by the main tenets of African humanism, namely compassion, connectedness, integrity and humility - at all levels of our society.

Stories Africa provides a platform for sharing stories of inspiration and values-based leadership from across our continent. By doing so we hope to redefine what we expect from our leaders and ourselves. Our goal is a bold one - to inspire values-based leadership, change the prevailing narrative and perceptions of our continent globally.

Stories Africa is a partnership between the Leadership & Values Initiative (LEVI) of the World Economic Forum Africa Regional Strategy Group and Africa Practice. Stories Africa works through open partnerships and collaborations with a range of organisations to create and curate stories that profile good leadership across science, technology, health, industry, the arts and the public sector.
