Voices of Africa talks to Catherine Constantinides about her dedication to social activism, and the fundamental lessons she has learned from a young age about the responsibility we hold as “guardians of this earth.” Catherine talks about how she has worked relentlessly to address climate change as well as emphasise the wider impact this is having on social development, directing, often doubtful leaders’, attention towards her environmental agenda from an impressively young age.

Emphasising the vital role of the youth, Catherine expresses her hope that a move towards fresh new leadership, being influenced by future generations, will continue to grow and create a shift in the African leadership narrative away from one which is characterised by corruption. 

Finally, Catherine talks about her inspiring new appointment as the Earthshot Prize ambassador, which aims to empower and encourage others across the globe, through stories of the progress made by young leaders on the climate change crisis.
